近代国际体育赛事的形成与发展管窥

通过文献资料、逻辑分析等方法，对20世纪初叶到70年代的近代国际体育赛事进行梳理，发现这一阶段是国际各类体育赛事形成与发展的高峰时期，随着时间的流逝，众多体育赛事中得以生存并获得发展的毕竟是少数。究其原因主要有来自于工业革命、宗教改革、两次世界大战、文化差异等方面。解决诸多困扰国际体育赛事发展问题的途径主要在于顺应时代潮流、注重不同文化的融合、正确处理体育与政治的关系等等。  相似文献   

Selection models in the music industry: How a prior independent experience may affect chart success

The is article analyses the two main approaches for artists’ selection in the recording industry: the direct model in which large major companies directly choose new artists from the supply market, and the agency model in which small independent labels realise the first choice and, subsequently, large organisations pick their new artists among those pre-selected by independents.An empirical analysis of chart sales reveals that artists selected through the agency model exhibit a longer presence on the chart due to repeated successes, while they are slower to reach heavy success once they have entered the chart. Conversely, the direct model leads to artists with a faster path to a strong success, but the same artists have a shorter presence on the chart due to the sporadic nature of their success. The profile of artists selected through these two models is also found to be different: big international soloist stars are more frequently selected through the direct model, while national bands are more frequently selected through the agency model.The insights suggest important implications for management in the cultural industries and especially in the recording industry. Correlates of verbally aggressive communication in adolescents

This investigation identifies demographic, media, and social correlates of verbally aggressive communication in adolescence. Mail surveys were completed and returned by 2,300 adolescents between the ages of 13 and 15. These adolescents were asked about the prevalence of verbal and physical aggression, the context in which it occurred, demographics, and the interpersonal and media influences in their lives. The results indicate that verbal aggression is widespread, that committing and experiencing verbal aggression is largely reciprocal, that there is a strong relationship between committing verbal and physical aggression, and that peer social influence and listening to violently oriented music are mildly related to verbal aggression in adolescents. These findings suggest more resources should be allocated to teaching adolescents to understand and control verbal aggression. Further, they provide important answers to many prevention and intervention programmatic questions, including context, content, and targeting concerns. Since the negative consequences of verbal aggression are severe and long lasting, decreasing this destructive communication behavior should significantly improve the lives of many adolescents. 晚清民初中国民族资本工业在中国近代资本主义经济发展中应运而生,爱国华侨兴办的民族工业企业无疑是这一经济浪潮中鲜艳夺目的奇葩,其中陈启沅是近代中国民族工业的开山鼻祖,张弼士更是当时举足轻重、富有影响的人物。据2003年1月5日《光明日报》报道:日前北京客家海外联谊会在北京大学召开爱国侨领张弼士学术研讨会。与会专家称张弼士是中国近代民族工业的先驱,他推动了近代中国的铁路、矿山和现代农业、现代金融业的发展。张弼士研究正引起学术界关注。拟对二人企业经营情况、企业规模及经营思想、经营成效和历史影响等方面进行比较分析,从而认识中国民族工业曲折发展的历程,揭示他们在近代中国资本主义经济发展中的重要作用。  相似文献
